Rachel Farnsworth

I am the deputy headteacher at Heath Primary school, a large primary on the M1 commuter link in Derbyshire. I have led early years in school for the last 10 years and find that this is where my love and passion lies, laying the foundations for lifelong learning so children become successful young adults who embrace the challenges ahead. At school we have a nursery and a large reception unit of 55 children. My specialism for SLE is ‘Early Years’ with a specific focus on assessment, data, interventions, pupil premium and SEND. I look forward to supporting a variety of schools in the teaching school alliance in the future.
