Kirsty Campbell

My name is Kirsty Campbell and I am Early Years lead at Bradway Primary School. Early Years education is my passion and I have been teaching for seven years. My drive to become an SLE comes from my desire to embed and develop Philosophy for Children(P4C) within the Early Years sector. I have spent my whole teaching career at Bradway. During this time, I have developed both the indoor and outdoor provision and have transformed the curriculum to focus on the prime areas of learning. My love for philosophy began after realising the potential it has on growing confidence and cognitive development of children. P4C fits perfectly with the EYFS pedagogy and it marries up with the characteristics of effective learning. I have a wealth of experience mentoring both staff and teacher trainees. I have also been involved in delivering training for level 1 P4C. I look forward to working with you and guiding you on your exciting P4C journey.
