Sarah Garbutt

My name is Sarah Garbutt. I am the EYFS phase leader and Phonics lead at Heath Primary School. I have worked at Heath for 18 years; initially as a teaching assistant before going onto qualify as teacher on the Graduate Teacher Program. Last year I successfully completed the NPQSL qualification using Phonics as a base for my project work. In my role as SLE I am available to offer support and guidance in the management and tracking of Phonics groups with an aim to have effective team working in your settings. I can offer suggesting of ways to include parents in learning and also help with the monitoring of the teaching and learning. I look forward to working with you to help improve Phonics in your schools.
